We accept papers that present research results or reflect on the connections between cultural and artistic practices, activism, and research, considering the following themes:

• Critical, intersectional, and decolonial methodologies and theories in the arts, social sciences, and humanities.
• Ethics and politics in the arts, social sciences, and humanities
• Communities of practice and collective knowledge production
• Artistic practices as a means of knowledge production
• Action research and engaged artistic practices
• Situated knowledge and local artistic practices
• Documentation and archiving of artistic-research practices
• Artistic creations and forms of social protest
• Connections between activism and youth creative practices
• New social movements between the local, the virtual, and the global
• Resistance and social transformation
• Activism in the public and private spheres

Submissions and related communications may be presented in Portuguese, Spanish, or English. Abstracts should have a maximum of 500 words and clearly explain the context of the research or theoretical and/or methodological reflection to be presented at the conference, indicating the objectives, conceptual assumptions and methodology, as well as the expected or already achieved results. They must also be accompanied by an English version and a brief biography of the author(s) (max. 150 words), including institutional affiliation and contact information. The limit is one submission per author as first author.
